Zum Event am 8. Juli 2014 wird Berlins erste Upcycling Fashion Road Map vorgestellt und die Gewinner des Heimtextil Young Creations Award: Upcycling 2014 präsentieren ihre preisgekrönten Objekte.
Der Upcycling Fashion Store führt die Fäden zusammen und wird auch zu dieser Fashion Week wieder zur Anlaufstelle für Liebhaber außergewöhnlichen Upcycling Designs. Berlin beweist sich als Hauptstadt der Upcycling Bewegung. Dieses wird auf der ersten Upcycling Fashion Roadmap festgehalten. In Kooperation mit visitberlin.de und der Heimtextil hat der Upcycling Fashion Store eine interaktive Karte erstellt, welche 30 verschiedene Berliner Läden, Ateliers und Designer auflistet. Exklusiv zur Launch können Besucher von Dienstag, dem 8. Juli bis Freitag, den 11. Juli einen umfangreichen Einblick in das Schaffen der Designer bekommen. Diese öffnen extra für Sie ihre Türen, um ihre Upcycling Produkte, Kollektionen und Ateliers zu präsentieren.

Gewinner des Heimtextil Young Creations Award: Upcycling 2014 zu Gast im Upcycling Fashion Store
Erstmals wird den Gewinnern des Heimtextil Young Creations Award: Upcycling 2014 eine Präsentations-fläche im Upcycling Fashion Store gewidmet, um ihre Objekte einem breiten Publikum vorzustellen. Zu sehen sind Jacqueline Theurer´s bunter Hocker ´un Wearable´ mit einer Sitzfläche aus ungebrauchter Bekleidung und der ´Companio Feuerlöscher – Kontaktgrill´ von Johanna Diepenbrock und Thijs Barendsen.

Am Dienstag, den 8. Juli ab 17 Uhr wird es zum Auftakt der Veranstaltungsreihe ein spektakuläres Eröffnungsevent in der Anklamer Straße 17 in Berlin-Mitte geben. Dazu wird der Berliner Pop-Art Künstler Jim Avignon die Fassade des Ladens in einer „Live Painting“ Aktion umgestalten. Wir laden Sie herzlich ein, bei Getränken von Bionade und Musik von DJ FRESH/gil abramov $$$, in netter Atmosphäre die Berliner Upcycling Designer persönlich kennen zu lernen und deren Konzepte zu entdecken.

On the opening event on July 8th 2014 the first Upcycling Fashion Roadmap will be introduced. Additionally, the winners of Heimtextil’s Young Creations Award will present their work.
Once again the Upcycling Fashion Store will function as a meeting point for enthusiasts of Upcycling design this Fashion Week. Berlin has proven itself to be the capital of the Upcycling movement. This is captured on the first Upcycling Fashion Roadmap. In collaboration with visitberlin.de and Heimtextil the Upcycling Fashion Store has created an interactive map which lists over 30 different Berlin shops, studios and designers. Exclusively for the launch, visitors will be able to get a sneak peek into the world of the participating Upcycling designers. From July 8th until July 11th they will be opening their doors to present their upcycling products, collections and artists’ studios for you.

For the first time the winners of Heimtextil’s Young Creations Award: Upcycling 2014 will show their objects to a wide audience at the Upcycling Fashion Store. Catch a glimpse of Jacqueline Theurer’s colorful stool ‘un wearable’ with a seat made of unused clothing or the ‘Companio fire extinguisher contact grill’ by Johanna Diepenbrock and Thijs Barendsen.
